You advance the story with classical point ‘n click gameplay with dialogue choices, interaction with objects, and puzzle-solving. Beautiful pixel graphics and well-written dialogue (no voiceovers, though) make this thrilling point ‘n click adventure a joy to play. I loved this game so much! In true point and click style, it has minimal graphics for the characters but lovely art work for the scenes. It was absorbing and relaxing(loved the music) I have read a bit about the real person Di Renjie (love historical based games) and would love to see a sequel to this game ! Heartily recommended. Ancient China, with its majestic palaces, unusual color palette, lots of interesting historical and cultural details, unique in its history, the reign of the only Empress of China Wu Zetian, looks very fresh and interesting, because not too many games are drawn to this historical era. It is always fascinating to see the cultures of other countries in games, to get acquainted with something new, all the more so when it is done in such an exciting manner.
