Super fun family games with kids and local coop, best at 3 and 4 local players. Fun to play, easy to play, commands are fine (who ever complains about commands “not being easy” or “hard to figure out” must be playing with their keyboard and never played local coop games as they all tends to be similar. We like this a bit less then Unspottable (our favourite local coop game), but we like Lumberhill more then Boomerang Fu and tons more then Cake Bash. It’s easy to pick up and many game modes and many levels.
Not too similar to overcooked either, many reviewer draw a direct comparison, but it’s different enough to stand on it’s own, yes it’s in a similar universe, but different enough to make it feel different. These Overcooked clones never seem to understand what makes Overcooked works. They need to know the difference between “mayhem” and “frustration”. Falling off the map is not fun. Getting stuck is not fun. Picking up the wrong things unintentionally is not fun. This game is full of these things and some. Just play the demo. There’s really no new mechanic in the full game. It’s just more of the same and it gets repetitive real fast.
