I originally wrote a bad review because the pet did not come with the food to level up the pet to 20. I was upset because the description seemed misleading. However, A few days later one of the Devs reached out to me that this was not intended and that they were going to make it right. Today I logged in and received the pet food AND 50 gems for the misunderstanding. Any company that hastily admits a mistake and fixes it this fast is ok by me and I would happily recommend this pet to anybody that might be interested.
It’s a cosmetic pet (i.e. does not improve your stats as a ‘normal’ in-game pet does) so it’s value is limited but if you don’t yet have this pet then be sure to put it on your wish-list and wait for a sale where it can be grabbed for 90% off. The reason to do this, apart from the obvious saving, is that within the game is a ‘VIP‘ progress for players who spend real money and for each $5 spent you get 25 VIP points. Points accumulate to provide in-game benefits at each level of VIP-ness.
Getting this on sale will still grant you the amount of VIP points as if you paid full price, i.e. $50. For a player that has not spent anything in game this boosts you straight to VIP rank 3 which grants ‘Automatic Free Scouting’ on the opponent’s troops before each match (they would otherwise be obscured until the match began, preventing you from building your team to counter it) which, in turn, saves you in-game currency to uncover it each time.
