Got this on sake for £1.88 and actually enjoyed it. It’s kind of bad. It’s a bit wonky and very clunky, featuring bad translations and the same few objects repeated. But It’s quite relaxing, and it actually manages to have quite a nice atmosphere. There’s some nice music and the game has a lot of bloom, giving it an ethereal, almost dream like quality as you forklift things around. It almost feels like a prequel for Nier Automata in a way. The story is told through notes left around, and while it’s not complicated, it has a message and is worth thinking about, if only for a few minutes. Gameplay wise, the controls are decent and it’s actually pretty fun. You can get stuck easily but there’s a button in the menu to jump you free. Carrying things around can be a challenge, and navigating obstacles while carrying things adds to this. There’s also some fun forklift platforming sections which are pretty tough.
This is a weird game, it’s pretty stupid, but also really cheap. It’s super easy to get all the achievements if you’re into that too. I’d say it’s kind of worth a go if you want 3-4 hours of a chill time forking around. The More simple levels are a tremendous joy because the physics are good for that, a solid half the game I’d say, but beyond that is a terribly jank experience that is far more frustrating than it is fun by a long shot. If you can handle that kind of game, jank and all, please buy this game, you will have an insanely good time, but otherwise, stick to forlongingly wanting the game to be better because you know it can be, and spending your time elsewhere. The Music is great though it is quite nice.
