Wizordum the forces of Chaos are once again at large due to the breaking of the Ancient Seal of Terrabruma. In this speedrun-friendly fantasy first-person shooter that borrows heavily from the wizardry of ’90s fantasy first-person shooter classics like Hexen and Heretic, you must go out on a mission as one of the remaining Mages of Wizordum refuge to discover the root of this taint and drive the Chaos back before they devour the kingdom. Wizordum is largely influenced by the 3-D Catacombs games, with hints of Hexen, Heretic, and Wolfenstein 3D. The levels have bright, colorful artwork and flawless level design and gameplay. There are lots of secrets that aren’t too hard to find, making them enjoyable to explore. Smooth and quick gameplay, enjoyable fighting, and respectable adversary design are all present.

I heartily endorse it! Although there is only one episode available in Early Access, based on my gameplay experience thus far, I’m excited about what’s to come. With pixel imagery that is incredibly bright and vivid, this shooter is fantastic. This has really strong Hexen vibes. However, I’m having fun exploring the game’s levels and the setting it takes place in. It is especially nice because it isn’t very difficult to find the secret spots. It’s really quite wonderful to have a map item that you can acquire that tells you where the mysteries are.
