You choose the pair of weapons you want to have this run, the difficulty (basically easy-normal-hard) and start the run. From there on out it’s room after room with progressively harder or more enemies and each room-clear rewards you with a buff upgrade currency. Clear rooms until you perish, and then upgrade your weapons or unlock new ones with the gained currency.
Rinse and repeat. It’s a simple formula, but the aesthetic and atmosphere brings it all together and makes it awesome to have a quick run here or there. This game does an excellent job intuitively teaching the the player how to succeed without force-feeding the information. It’s an experience that rewards practice and practice and more practice. And the best part? You’ll be tricked into burning hundreds of calories before you even realize it! This game convinced me that VR is in my future for fitness.
