uition Academia is a life simulator game where you take control of a female protagonist. You’re tasked with the goal of paying off your student debt any way you can, whilst balancing the day-to-day of college. It’s a perverted world out there, and you can either use it, or it can use you! This eroge combines roleplaying elements with an open world that lets you play any way you want. Your main character will slowly become more corrupt as they try to earn a seemingly insurmountable amount of money. They’ll become more open to risqué and higher-paying jobs,

and who knows what kind of person they’ll become with a career path like that? The gameplay involves stocking up on supplies, hiring a crew, setting sail, discovering islands in the zee which have fixed storylines and interactions but are scattered randomly around the zee each play through. You engage with story created almost entirely through text (the game is heavy on reading), make decisions that impact the story of those islands and return back to port with whatever goodies you have, encountering pirates and horrible zee creatures along the way.

Early on the game is very challenging, both technically because you start off extremely weak, but also because most of the game mechanics and interactions are obscure. The gameplay loop generally consists of you exploring, taking risks, eventually dying and then the cycle repeats. You get to keep marginal wins from prior runs, like some money or resources. The primary problem with this is that unless you read up on a lot of guides and tips for early game you will likely die a lot. And the islands you visit while they are randomly placed, they involve mostly static content, so you quickly learn what to expect from any given encounter.
