The biggest change, the driving physics have been overhauled. There’s actually counter-steering, and it really takes getting used to. It’s not frustrating though once you get the hang of it. Each car class drives noticeably different from each other, and they’re all fun in their own ways. The physics are really solid and a good mix of reflecting real dirt racing while still feeling arcadey.
The career mode is also majorly improved. The showcase events are awesome and feel grand. It’s so fun to work your way up the ranks and have your team grow. That feeling of progress you should get from a good career mode is defintely there in this game. There’s also lots of quality of life improvements. The only issue would be the fact that they advertised hiring drivers, when it reality it’s just a revamped version of simulating races. But even then, I’m personally against simming races, so not that big of a deal.
