Overview Toilet Chronicles:
You explore the place and when you get inside of the empty cabin a guy next to your stall askes for some toilet paper. When you get out of the cabin, you notice that the escape door is gone… Now you have to find out if that guy trapped you, or is he trapped with you..? This is a fun game, with some unusual and clever puzzle features. Definitely enjoyable to play and stream for others, but it’s a short game. I 100% solved the game in under 90 minutes. The price isn’t unreasonable, but I look forward to seeing additional achievements and endings. This game will make you enjoy silence, peace and solitude. Even just the pure experience of you crossing a landscape is something to rejoice. Death Stranding is one of the few games that trully sells you the open world, one that never narrows by fast travel mechanics, one that stays consistent throught the entire experience. The game has way more things, mechanics and themes to offer, but that makes up for you to discover, and me to leave that to you to find out.

In the end, when I started this game I did it by mere curiosity, never played a Kojima title before, and ended up being one of my favorites of all time. If you are looking for something different, give it a shot. When this game originally came out I was suffering from severe depression and anxiety. It massively helped me through that period (which is kinda funny considering the BTs can be hugely anxiety-inducing) and when Director’s Cut came out, I knew I had to return to it to enjoy the added content. I was worried I’d have a bad case of rose-tinted glasses for how much it helped me out, but being in a much better place as I am now, to me this game really reaffirmed that it’s just one of the best games I’ve ever played. That said, I totally understand why some people bounce off of it pretty hard.
