It’s an interesting game and can be both really fun and extremely annoying at times. The fun part is building the logistics chains and discovering how things work. The annoying part is that there are far too many bugs that need fixed and QoL improvements that need added like an in-game tutorial, explanations for icons, better AI logic with regards to pathing. I really feel that my time in the game was not rewarded very much. About 60% of my time was spent staring at the beavers and waiting for them to begin working and to stop standing around doing nothing. Que-up commands for them to work did nothing. This is annoyed me so much that I stopped playing the game until its out of Early Access.
I heavily recommend to wait for this games development cycle to be fully completed and released from Early Access. I’m looking forward to that day, but for now my time is better spent playing games that are highly polished. Timberborn needs a lot more time perhaps 2 years of serious development progression. Exist little bugs (with graphics not critical), but main problem the game that it doesn’t have any interesting mechanics which divided it from other a colony sim.
