About Thief Simulator:
A true stealth experience, or like the classic Thief 2, but in a contemporary setting. I find it an awesome stealth game. Do not expect combat, it’s 100% stealth. Beware of reviews that say that it’s a grindy game. The game has 3 neighbourhoods, there is a varied things of to do in the 2nd neighbourhood, it even seems like a new game and then in the 3rd one, you have industries and companies to rob and do tasks. But specially the 2nd neighbourhood is packed with new stuff. Small issues apart (I don’t need to list them, they are minimal), the game is good, fun, engaging and there are a lot of things to do.
This game is incredibly fun, I loved playing it through, and it’s aged well. It’s a really good thief game, and thief/stealth games are personally my favorite. The only issue I have is not with this game, but with the sequel. Now I know the sequel isn’t out yet, and that’s why you should take what I’m saying with a grain of salt, but looking at the images for the sequel, it just looks like an alternative version of Thief Simulator. I think based on the screenshots, it looks too similar, and I feel like it’ll just be what feels like more thief simulator 1 content, and I mean if it is it’ll definitely get tiring. I won’t get my hopes too high. I really look forward to it and hope it’s going to be as fun as the original, and not just an expansion on the original.
