About The Quarry:
The Quarry, a game that’s part movie part game, a interactive choose your own adventure that follows the formula of 80s flicks like Friday the 13th etc, the game is short compared to other games in the series eg House of Ashes etc, running in about 14 hours to see everything it has to offer. The actors are top notch and fit the scenes well. Tech wise the game had a few hickups with repeating scenes when the game didn’t load fast enough for my computer but overall it seems to have been patched well so far.
Some of them even went on Twitch and played the Game and it was amazing to watch the Cast or ask the Cast how they felt during the scenes etc. Fun for the first few playthroughs I’d say, to see the different endings. Good story, great music & graphics. I loved the different personalities of each counselor & the fact that the smallest change can affect an outcome. I’m a huge classic horror/camp slasher movie fan so I personally really enjoyed it.
To get all achievements you need to do like 8/9 playthroughs & you CANT skip any scenes. It would be nice to have the option of skipping the dialogue. There are some choices that are completely pointless no matter the path you still get the same outcome so it’s kinda deceiving. Also some plot holes & I wish they had an ending scene of the counselors reuniting after the night.
