Totally not giving you my money to buy this OST so you use it as funds to potentially Restart the cancelled Otherworld Project in secret, nope. Prelude really speaks to me, but i must say, the rest of the tracks in no way shape or form represent the spirit of the original Terraria in my horrible opinion. If a friend was to show up and tell me that this was Terraria-Otherworld music without me knowing it was official, i’d most likely call him out on bullcrap. It’s not bad, its actually good, but it has more Starbound vibes then being a successor of Terraria franchise in spirit. I personally feel its a miss. I know Otherworld was going to be similar to Terraria but be its own thing with its own mechanics, but the music does not tie well together in my opinion. It feels like it doesn’t belong.
I’m still going to give it a positive review however, because its part of Re-logic’s development history, and its still good music regardless. I want to support Re-logic and i applaud them for releasing this music DLC.
