The aircraft is pretty boring to control and has a rather drab armament selection, but the enjoyability of the game increases tenfold as soon as you unlock the mech – it turns into pure mecha ARPG power fantasy where a single swing of your sword arm utterly erases half the bugpeople on your screen in a flash of gore. Also helps to have a good PC because this game is a memory porker – holy christ sometimes it’s like I’m playing diablo 2 on the family PC again every time I left click. It crashes, it lags, it crashes again, it gives me driver update errors when Ive already just updated my drives, and worst of all after a crash, I just lose all my data to the void and need to start over again. Hurts my soul finagling the game to life only to be greeted by 2 rounds and 68 cargo when I already had more a hundred times that.
