Combat dangerous enemies at every turn of the underworld’s twisted paths, including shadowy creatures and the haunted remains of an ancient electrical threat. Upgrade your gear to forge deeper into the earth and take on bigger challenges. Swing across large chasms with your Hookshot and fly through caves with the Jet Engine!
And finally, learn the truth about your long lost friend… The platforming, with maybe some very slight Metroidvania elements, is tight and interesting. The upgrade systems work well to give you things to work toward by buying new or upgraded equipment while the cogs let you ‘socket’ your items to customize you build I enjoyed the movement abilities you picked up along the way, which made getting around fun. There are more abilities to find, better visuals, a better soundtrack, a decent story, and a bunch of well-hidden collectibles, too.
