An absolute badass brawler that sports some unique humor, great bosses, a unique 90s style graphics and limited, but nonetheless effective set of moves. If you are having problems dealing with later bosses, don’t forget that you can spend your hard earned cash on upgrades that will send them bastards flyin. Rebooted is a re-hash of “Escape”, which in turn is a minimalist puzzle platformer with one single twist, the levels are dark so you need to think carefully to negotiate each level with just the limited light sources available to you. That’s it. The game was slapped together with the godawful Godot engine. As the saying goes, you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, and you can’t make a decent game out of a crap game engine. Rebooted stands as testament to that old proverb.
