It’s generally a fun kart racer. One of the most simple, easy to pick up and play and besides Mario Kart 8 Deluxe this would honestly be my next best pick for a kids first racing game, it is a bit too basic for me to regularly play this on my own and the PC port lacks any online features but I may play this every now and again in split screen if the mood strikes. I played through all Grand Prixs on Expert, beat all the time trial staff ghosts and got AAA ranks on all the missions and bar one or two missions it was pretty easy but sometimes an easy game to play through is nice. All in all if you haven’t played this before it’s a good time, especially if you have some friends to play split screen with and there’s a decent amount of single player content to keep you busy for a few hours. It says three hours but i played this on Xbox360 religiously when i was younger and its the best racing game (other than NFSU2) Ive ever played, the tracks are colourful and interesting with loads of cool characters from amazing games, the music is fun and upbeat with lots of songs from loved Sega games, a definite recommend.
I had issues trying to run it and nothing i found online worked, they said to change audio in PC setting to 24bit 48000Hz but i found you need to do this in your specific speaker settings that come up when connecting an audio device and this should work, or changing resolution if you havent already with the game setup menu It’s good for memories, but does crashes a lot and has a weird aspect ratio, not really fit for people with 16:9 widescreen, personally I wouldn’t recommend it for the price, but there might be a patch I’m not known of, so take my word with a grain of salt.
