Hands down best Sniper Elite game! So far have played 1,2,3 and 4 and would put them in this order: 4,2,3,1 and somehow have feeling that 5th entry potentially lands even behind first title, but unlikely it gets better of 2nd. Overall great huge levels with plenty to do and experiment. Good lot of weapons to play around and master and very pleasant to look at. Though some characters aren’t too great looking compared to rest of the game and voice acting just feels rather. They truly sound like not actual people or ones with fairly odd voices. Was rather irritated during mission 5 when pasta wrist decided to make pastalignio through voice channels constantly and after, would have been great if could have shot that mafia guy silent. It would have been great game enhancing mechanic!
Base game has 8 missions, while it doesn’t sound much, if you take slow and silent route mission can last easily 2-3 hours while getting all collectibles. Gun runner route will be of course far shorter experience. Along with those 8 mission come 2 co-op missions which are pretty fine too to play with friend, though think it’s best as shooting gallery experience when playing with friend. Did also decide to get season pass as it was well regarded. Previous games didn’t invite me towards dlc purchase. But SE4 did surely give 100% worth for the few extra euros decided to drop towards it. Firstly the Führer mission is nice kill Hitler several different ways type of content and has permanent alarm if you get noticed. Deathstorm dlcs are probably one of the best missions and would say far harder ones to play, but rewarding when getting through of them.
