This game is very unique. It teaches you how to cheat and con with playing cards to discover the truth about people and their secrets. The game visuals are stunning and a feast to the eye. Music can get repetitive as the game lacks variety in that but its not an issue as the music is pretty catchy. Every trick performed in this game can be used to cheat in real life. 7/10 This should be an 8/10 but trick number 24 gave me a headache and it lacked a proper tutorial so I’m removing 1 because of that. Otherwise, fantastic game.
Delightful little game with great music, real card tricks/cheats, and a surprisingly good story. At 8ish hrs, it’s short (which may be a price-point issue for some), but I feel like it’s just right; it doesn’t overstay its welcome. Only gripe is that despite being a game with a “rewind” feature, scenes cannot be skipped. Otherwise, highly recommended.
I got this game as part of the StoryRich bundle and out of the games, this is the only one worth the money – even full price. The art is really interesting, even the way the characters move is unique. My only critique would be about the reminders – I wish there was a little bit more detail in them such as about the directions to move the mouse for certain tricks. Game was decently fun the first time around, though I wouldn’t play it twice since there is really no good gameplay loop. Multiple endings, but personally not interested in playing again to get them. There were some techniques that I found were annoying to do or follow along, especially one in the last game.
