Atmosphere in the opening section of the randomly generated missions was outstanding; dark with a brownish fog hiding distant features and making you feel vulnerable out in the open. The lack of any signs of life other than the ambient sounds of the dead forest was superb for day one of the developer’s first game. Getting to the first objective and looking around into the fog along the way was really immersive. This all being said, I don’t hate the game. I’ve been looking for a tactical horror shooter for a while now, and ArmA mods aren’t cutting it.

S.P.A.T. Pre-Installed:

With love and care, this can be polished and refined to add triggers for enemy spawns, a variety in enemy behavior (like hiding and waiting to strike or pounce with subtle audio indicators, as well as engaged enemies retreating when at low health to go and try to do this), and more options for players when it comes to menus and combat engagements. Fun Game, it’s meant to be played in multiplayer mode, really rough around the edges though but the core gameplay is fantastic !! I think if the devs give this an overhaul and use better models, this game has great potential.
