Roll Player is a digital adaptation of the popular board game Roll Player. Mighty heroes don’t just appear out of thin air — you must create them! Race, class, alignment, skills, traits, and equipment are all elements of the perfect hero, who is ready to take on all opposition in the quest for glory and riches. In Roll Player, you will compete to create the greatest fantasy adventurer who has ever lived, preparing your character to embark on an epic quest.
Roll and draft dice to build up your character’s attributes. Purchase weapons and armor to outfit your hero. Train to gain skills and discover your hero’s traits to prepare them for their journey. Earn Reputation Stars by constructing the perfect character. The player with the greatest Reputation wins the game and will surely triumph over whatever nefarious plot lies ahead! In this digital adaptation, we have implemented all the elements of the original board game. Play against other players or challenge yourself in a solo game.
There’s no AI, as it’d be very difficult to create a good one since the game has so many variables and scores are always changing until the very end. Besides, the Solo mode is VERY solid and will keep you on your toes with choices and decisions to make! At the moment (EA) it’s just Solo mode and local MP but you can “transform” that and play with your friends using Remote Play or Parsec. While, as mentioned above, Solo is very good MP is so much better! There are a few more things that will come in the next months (such as stats and archives for your best heroes for example) and there might be the chance to receive new content in the future based on how well the game sells so… if you want to see a Monsters and Minions release at some point.
