What this DLC adds is stuff that probably should’ve been in from the get-go, but its all very nicely implemented and is fun to play around with. This DLC does let you go a bit more into the extreme side of politics if you wish, where only certain people can vote and democracy may no longer be an accurate label for your nation. Also, if you wanted a bit more complexity added to elections and you enjoy messing around with policies affecting voter turnout, this DLC is a good pick up for you.
The titles of the new policies are missing (in English at least, idk about other languages) and some of the items that the policies affect don’t seem to exist. For example, if you hover over the icon for what I think is campaign robocalling (it has no title when hovered over or clicked on) it has two arrows – a green to the Everyone voter group, and a red arrow pointing to an empty text box with no icon (like only a label for an icon, with just a single space in it) at the extreme top-left of the screen. So it’s effectively impossible to use the new policies.
Missing text problem mentioned in other reviews is still not fixed, the right policy titles are in the game files but they don’t show up, and the new sliders aren’t labelled properly either. The dlc is virtually unplayable unless you memorise the logos of the policies, and even then the new events are impossible as both options are always blank.
