A nameless child with no memories awakens in the metro with only a vague sense of purpose and desire to reach the distant clocktower, hoping to find answers at the top. On the way they will discover a melancholic world filled with masked characters, monsters and perhaps the answers that the child seeks. Amazing game just like Isaac. There’s decent synergies that change the game enough and great modifiers for each run. If you’re a king at Isaac then the difficulty is going to be lesser which is part of the main suggestion I think this game needs to address.

The suggestion is there needs to be alternate bosses for the first floor and/or others. It would bring more dynamic to the whole game exponentially. I don’t know if he’s working on it but that would bring this game to Isaac’s level for sure. Together, we completed Stray in about eight hours over the course of about ten days, as kids don’t have long attention spans. I learned new things about my daughter in the process. She is clever, creative, and compassionate. The story provides learning opportunities about hope, friendship, and the virtue of sacrifice. And she absolutely loved taking turns with me playing and watching.
