Though a victory for the Federation and its allies, it was costly and resulted in bitter sentiments all around, sentiments that come to a head when Cascadia rebels against the Federation following what I suspect was a tax investigation that ended up escalating to a ridiculous degree, and indeed, the resulting war only escalates from there and sees the player hired to supplement Cascadia’s battered forces.
