Cosmetics are unlocked via achievement, and lore scraps can be hidden after you complete a room. You have some pick in what your next encounter is and can map a path from start to boss room. Things that were free in the classic mode now cost resources. resting at camp, was free, now cost rubies. In Classic, before a boss you had the option rest for full health, or ambush the boss to deal an immediate 15 damage. In Scarlet, you can rest to heal 20, or pay diamonds to ambush and heal to full. Diamonds are also used to buy cosmetics, and to play the arcade mode, so you will want to save them. It plays better but it feels like a mobile freemium game. Risky mode still exisits, but works differently, now you heal by the level of spell cards you play, and take damage equal to the level of attack cards. you can win with pure spell decks which if you get the right ones makes it easy.
