You see, your main goal here is to get nectar as this currency is needed to upgrade your skills. The more nectar you use, the more experience is possible to get which goes up to tenfold additionally. There is even a mini-game available when upgrading your skills, although it only contains touching girls on lewd spots so I got bored of it quickly. The idea behind it is quite nice so you have a change once in a while, but I ended up skipping all of them after experiencing them once. Additionally, there are more different mini-games available which are all quite simple but at least you can unlock CGs, that have to be bought separately, of the characters this way. However, I found it a bit disappointing that each character only has a few CGs available.
When it comes to artwork, Omega Labyrinth Life has stunning sprites and CGs to offer. The graphics are kept rather simple and chibi-ish which doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing, but in fact, I felt like it fit just well with the game’s theme, plus it’s incredibly cute. The garden is customizable and you can choose between several objects to replace, although you have to buy most of them. Even changing the layout of the garden to your liking is possible and thus, you’re pretty much creating your very own garden full of flowers. I found it a bit off that you can just walk through smaller objects as if they didn’t exist and I got confused anytime, but again, maybe it could even be convenient so not every single object will be an obstacle. Additionally, the voice-acting is lovely, to say the least.
Omega Labyrinth Life is a lovely and relaxing game when the player doesn’t take the game too serious. The story is rather light-hearted as well with a heroine trying to save the academy’s garden yet the mystery dungeons are a challenge to go through and a lot of things have to be considered when entering a dungeon.
