A fantasticly made super polished rogue like. Crazy amounts of upgrades n what not, although not all are exhilerating of course. Its not perfect, main progression can be a bit confusing… some decisions i dont really agree with. You dont know pickups unless they are from memory or you pick them up.. This is ok, but any game mechanic that can be circumvented with a notepad is kind of lame to me.. sure make them unknown but once picked up, they should show their description every time.. and just remove or modify the one item that allows for the description before pickup.

The levels and enemies though are a bit lacking in variety, the bosses are varied enough to keep it more interesting. Progression is in relatively slow; you’ll find yourself diving into runs repeatedly to collect enough resources to upgrade/unlock new things. The repetitive game play loops makes this “ok”. Would I buy it? Probably not unless on discount.
