LoveChoice is a decision-based AVG. As the title suggests, the game is about choices. We worked hard to ensure every scene and every choice was reasonable and meaningful. We wanted every choice to matter and affect the outcome of the story. This game is a discussion about love. It is more focused on expressing thoughtful ideas than gameplay mechanics.
We hope this game brings a little love into our players’ lives and provides some insights into how to love their partners a little better. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that has as much heart in it as LoveChoice. The art, the music, the writing, and the lessons it teaches really make this game hit hard emotionally. LoveChoice does such a great job portraying healthy relationships and showing how love isn’t easy. You need sacrifice, care, respect, and so much more to make a relationship work. And even then, sometimes it doesn’t and it’s no ones fault!

I highly recommend this to everyone, but especially those who are in a relationship, just starting one, or looking to be in one. It’s short and sweet, but well worth it. This game really surprised me and it did an outstanding job at displaying realities of relationships, and how easily people overlook things their significant other might be needing by not thinking more outside of their own comfort zone.
And the emotional parts hit hard If you are looking for a short game that will take you on separate and very different emotional journeys, each dealing with different problems and emotions, you have found it here! I love the great classics in the world of CRPG, such as Torment, Arcanum, the Fallout series (the Black Isle and New Vegas chapters), Bloodlines and other more recent titles, such as Tyranny and Disco Elysium. Some elements of their stories, certain characters are engraved in my mind even after years. Wildermyth, after a few hours of playing in which I was trying to understand what was in front of me, struck me with a revelation that is incredible.
