Peace was supposed to prevail in the lands of Ixtona, after a long war came to an end under the wise king, until a sudden plot and conspiracy threaten again its peace. Kyle, the prince of Ixtona now has to throw himself and his allies into a battle that will ultimately decide the fate of his kingdom. Throw yourself into turn-based strategy battles in different maps designed from an isometric view. Each character is specialized in melee, ranged or magic attacks. You can also hire new customizable characters, invest in the village for research and development, or change class to develop and strengthen your army. Enjoy all the rest of this full-scale strategy RPG with beautiful pixel artstyle! Well I’ve played this for about 3 hours straight. It’s addictive for sure. There is a lot to do for such a “budget” title, but that’s what you get with Kemco games.
As an aside, while I love their other two main developers (Exe-Create and Hit-Point), I’m pleased to see another World Wide Software developed title on Steam for a change (the first being Tears Revolude, released years ago now handles great, tight controls and the gameplay is stepped up a notch because manuals/reverts are in. so combos are huge. the soundtrack is brilliant.
great and well chosen music, perfect for olliolli. a perfectly balanced game, that really does make you wonder if your gamepad will last the night from retry after retry to get the highest scores one thing i can say on a bad note is that the optimisation seems to be a bit slow. unlike olliolli 1 which was stupidly fast, there seems be some slow down here. it may be because of the port [because it feels like one, if not fair enough]. but i will leave that up to updates in future and hope it gets addressed.
