This is a sort of idealized and improved version of Castlevania 2. You get a map this time. Music and graphics are exactly what you would expect, controls are a bit more forgiving than the originals. No complaints on my end, except for Al kinda looking like a manlet when standing next to npcs. If you were a fan of Castlevania 2 or the Bloodstained: Curse Of The Moon games, then Infernax right up your alley. I was waiting for this game since I saw a video of the demo for it last year and can say that Berzerk Studio did an amazing job. So I highly recommend you give this game a try. This is NOT a Classic Castlevania clone. Unlike games like Curse of The Moon, this does not have commit-heavy controls that require anticipation and lots of repetition to get good at. This can be played almost like a modern 2D metroidvania, like Hollow Knight.
