For those that care, combat and mechanics are JRPG standard: grindy enough to feel progression, not annoying enough to stop playing. Incredibly solid cyberpunk CRPG with very well-written characters and an engaging combat system. The dialogue is great, and the choices are cool. Some of the character missions made me really sad, and you can tell that the writers poured a lot of love into building the characters in your party. One of the parts where the game really hooked me into how good it is is when ammonia needed to be released in a chamber to neutralize the chemical within – I dug deep into what I remembered from middle school chemistry and put the formula in.
