I honestly can’t quite understand why the game is being hated so much. In fact, I think Hood Outlaws & Legends is a very fun game. Especially with friends, i.e. a coordinated team that can also communicate, you have a huge advantage. Because in Hood you play in 4 vs 4 PVP & PVE.
The gameplay is not entirely clear from the screenshots. Therefore a short explanation: You are thrown into a relatively large map with 2 spawn points (one for each team) and 3 capturable points. First, the teams have to steal the sheriff’s key, open the safe with it and then bring the chest to one of the exit points and crank it to get it out of the map and thus win the game. The team that finishes first wins. You fight each other and have to kill each other to buy time, take respawn points to get closer to the action and also fight the bots that lurk around the map. The game is played mostly stealth at the beginning to keep the alarm bells from ringing and towards the end it gets mostly chaotic and loud, which also locks the gates and makes the guards angry.
