This game reminds me a lot of YouTube channels like ‘Abroad in Japan’. This acts as an educational tool exposing you to Japanese culture and does not really have an engaging story but more a plausible situation where you are an exchange student who wants to fully imerse yourself in the culture over the course of one year. I was quite impressed with the translations, voice acting, animation and artwork. The game also allows you to access a glossary. I genuinely learnt a lot during my playthrough. If you are interested in learning about Japanese culture, this is for you. That being said, if you are expecting an engaging story and want a more typical romantic/dating sim visual novel – move along.
i really love this game – it is (before anyone says) it is very similar to the visual novel go go nippon (which i have but yet to play) the story is of a boy called brian and he travels to Japan to go to school and makes friends with two cute girls and unlike dating sims – the main aim is not to date one of these two girls but to learn all about Japan and the japanese culture, which is something i have always been interested in learning about and this is a great way to start learning if your looking for a dating sim – this is not for you but if you want a nice learning visual novel about japan – this is a must (or like i said go go nippon is also good) Harbor Havoc Lag Method Teleport Roblox Scripts
This game is a neat little way to turn a virtual novel into a both educational and ‘just fun’. Theres a lot of ‘life’ to be had in it, you play over the course of an exchange students year in Japan, where you slowly learn about both culture and the two main characters you befriend early on in the novel, and gives you a very little amount of freedom to be had with the story, but definitely more of an interesting put-together of another culture than an actual interactive ‘game’. If you put the time this wants into it, it will give you something back, and maybe even deserving of a sequel.
