I’ve played so many horror games and can honestly say this one is so bad. Not sure if its just with custom difficulty, but the keys were quite literally impossible to find on the prison map (or they just didn’t spawn) and the spawn rate of the monsters is absurd. The motel map is too big for its own good, and the monsters are SO bad, I thought I hated the first map until I played Motel and then I realized Prison isn’t that bad, not sure why this has so many positive reviews. It tries to be like Devour, but honestly you’re better off just playing Devour or literally any other horror game, genuinely not a scary game. Chased By Darkness is entirely new type of horror game. Compare to Devour, Pacify, or Phasmo. Players are able to fight back using weapon and able to kill the monsters. No doubt this game has potential and LORE to fulfill. Best to play the game with friends or play SOLO if you’re brave enough. GG happy hunting CBD players 🙂
A buggy, janky ‘Devour’ style game with guns and assets i’ve seen in other games. Find items, take them to pedestals, shoot monsters that get in your way, trigger boss battle, shoot boss. Sometimes you can’t pick up the items you need due to a bug which is game breaking and super annoying. The game has a good range of difficulty options to make it easier/harder, so there should be a difficulty to suit everyone. It’s alright for an hour or two with friends I guess. If I could give a ‘mixed’ rating I would, but since I can’t I lean slightly more towards ‘don’t recommend‘. It’s nothing new, except for the guns.
