I tried playing with a friend online and I kept getting disconnected in the middle of play despite having Google Fiber. It wasn’t clear whether my disconnect was coming from my friend or the servers in general as there was no way to track in-game ping. The game did freeze on me after finding two players when I queued up alone, so it’s something to look at. Overall, I think that this is a fun multiplayer game for friends and family. Though there is enjoyment with playing alone, couch co-op is the best way to play for now.

Fling to the Finish is such a fun, original, witty co-op game for players of all ages, and for people who don’t typically play video games too! It’s a great goofy little party game that is very reminiscent of classic racing games such as Mario Kart, combined with the vibes of great indie co-op titles such as “Push Me Pull You”, “Overcooked”, or even “Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime”. This game totally has the energy to get people excitedly yelling at one another–your teammates, your opponents..
