Overview Elven Warmaiden:

An auto-battler game in which you command the elven Warmaidens to fend off waves and waves of attack from enemies besieging your capital city. Warmaiden may learn passive traits from each weapon to permanently improve their stats, but through combat it can be changed into their corrupted counterpart, making it more powerful with drawback in one way or another. Mix and match different traits together to build the most powerful Warmaiden for your team. The game plays best in the campaign mode, but unfortunately it has a single major flaw. Once you reach level 21 you will be forced to pay out cash to upgrade your character’s equipment in order to pass this level. Note, this is not like other free to play games, such as World Of Tanks, that encourage you to pay for premium equipment in order to level up.

You will never pass the above mentioned level w/o paying cash to upgrade. You have the option of playing the game in either campaign mode or player vs player. The campaign mode is composed of scenarios (similar to D&D adventures), each made up of a series of battles based on a specific theme. Scenario/ adventures are ranked in difficulty ranging from level one on to 20 plus. You start at the first level and progress one level at a time. Typically the game gives you three or more scenario/ adventures to pass in order to move to the next level.
