Mexico and the Americas are realy good gets your brain working i have found though hours of playing this great game however there is still room for improvements like in the Mexican game there could be some extra Mexican charaters to choose from, instead of building bridges over exsiting tracks which can cost alot have daimond flat train crossings controlled by signals. If you enjoyed the Railroad Tycoon series this game will not disapoint. Some of the track building can be tricky, but has been made easier with a few of the latest patches. My cheif complaint is that even with the Mexico DLC I have been unable to play in free or sandbox modes and have access to the US and Mexico in a game. Adding the ability to expand your railroad empire throughout both cvounties would make the game even more enjoyable then it is now. This game is worth picking up.
This does not sound like much and really it isn’t, it is mainly cosmetic stuff except for the scenario. Viva mexico which is more difficult and elaborate than those in the basic game and it gave me a good few more hours of entertainment. At the first sight I thought it is just an overpriced DLC that adds very little compared to its pricetag, but surprisingly I am satisfied with the result. If you truly enjoyed the base game this is a nice-to-have extension.
