Energy management is key to victory in Dolmen. Energy is not only used for ranged weapons, but also for activating “Energy Mode”. Energy Mode” imbues your melee weapons with elemental status effects, letting you take full advantage of your enemy’s weaknesses.

energy supports your ranged attacks, and refills automaticaly (slowish) or when hitting enemies with melee (faster, depening on your perks alot faster). you can also enter a special “mode” on button press (Y on pad) to get into energy mode, which lets you use your melee attacks ignoring stamina (and letting it recharge) but using energy instead, while also applying status effects and elemental damage. your energy bar only gets realy depleted when healing; to recharge spend energy you got energy-estus-flaks (4 to start with, but there are temporary ones in the levels.
