Now for my actual review, I highly recommend checking this game out. The look of the game definitely caught my attention with the 2D characters in a 3D environment. What I was really surprised with was how good this game felt to play with also the amount of freedom with the movement options the game gives you. The amount of stuff you can pull off with the hover, long jump, and the many different jumps available makes this game feel so free flowing.
Now for the weakest aspect of the game, the combat. It’s glorified sumo wrestling with your main way of attacking is by shooting hand projectiles. These parts aren’t awful, but they definitely slow down the pace of the game. However I can forgive its weakest point when its platforming elements is what makes this game soar. Seriously get this game whenever you get the chance, it’s a very worthwhile experience. Now I need to go through its expansion, Neon Splash The 2D sprite main character takes some getting used to and the level design is rather amateurish yet creative and isn’t afraid to experiment. The controls are a teensy tiny bit floaty.
