A Warriors/Musou game that has almost every character from SW4 and DW8, with a metric TON of content. DW characters are locked to their EX weapon but to compensate you can swap between three characters, and also EVERY character has a magic moveset system. Movesets are almost entirely unaltered, yes SW characters have their Hyper Combos. I should note that some of these reviews are from the pre-Ultimate version, because this Steam page predates the Ultimate edition. Also original Warriors Orochi 4 DLC is compatible, and I actually recommend the original Season Pass for the alternate Magic weapons and bonus scenario chapters, and likewise with the Deluxe version. later on in the game you can change around magic weapons from the defaults, and basically refine your character’s moveset even further.
The ultimate edition adds a comical amount of content and things to do, and it’s absolutely worth the admittedly high price, because you will literally never run out of things to do,WO3U is on PC now too, and honestly I’d say that game is an even better starting point, and I’d also say while overall, WO4U has more content, WO3U has more considerably depth to what’s there. I also redacted needless bloated wording and unneeded segments to this review. Play WO3U first and then this one.simple game mechanics, you feel like a beast tearing through hordes of enemies, can be a bit repetitive at first but that’s kind of the game’s fort’e leveling up at first is a grind but once you get infinity mode going.
