Awesome abilities such as the EXP magnet, critical strike, air strike, and orbital strike are all earned by accomplishing achievements. Cool relics that you can obtain, and with a lucky combination will make your train incredibly over powered. Lots of different zombies and zombie bosses to shoot down or crush underneath your locomotive. I’ve seen a lot of people in other reviews and videos reference this game as another vampire survivors clone but I honestly feel like that is doing this game a huge disservice.
Yes this game features horde survival along the lines of Vampire Survivors but the way it’s done entirely different. I would describe it more like one of the 2D Bullet Hell games of the 90’s like R-Type with horde survival instead of bullets. The reason I describe it as such is while there are progression upgrades you can purchases there are no weapon synergies or combinations, along with the ability to use limited (by resources) Power Ups like ion cannons and aerial bombardment similar to the limited screen clear bombs of that game style.
