Fun little game with lots of variety. One downside to keep in mind is that you can only “equip” five towers prior to a mission and that somewhat reduces your options in-game. And also, the pace seems a bit slower compared to the rest of the Kingdom Rush titles (It’s how I felt for most of my playthrough). P.S. Just like the other kingdom rush games this one has different towers to utilize defenses. Some dark heroes are harder to play with than others so getting three stars isn’t that easy but manageable with the right heroes along with their abilities. Still a great game.
This game feels like a DLC for the other Kingdom Rush games with changes to the hero pictures, some art, and tower abilities. Get a hero to level 10, unlock more towers, and beat the levels/bosses. Some towers are too weak and should only be used for early levels. Other towers are OP and win you rounds on their own. The earlier towers should be buffed or more versatile so they don’t feel useless in later fights. It is not specified which towers can damage flying enemies except for the arrow tower. If you are on a level and did not bring anti-air tower, you need to restart.
