I’ve had my steam account for years, and I’ve never once left a comment on something until now. This DLC feels like a cash grab by the devs. The content is fun enough to use (when it works), but it seems like they never actually finished making this DLC before they released it. The big issue that bothers me is that they didn’t bother to put sound files in for the new parts. I want you to imagine yourself standing next to a helicopter, or a world war 2 fighter plane. Pretty loud right? Not here! That ♥♥♥♥♥ will be totally silent. The description of one of those parts even explicitly mentioned the “high pitched whine” it’s supposed to make. There are other smaller issues too. Like certain parts not working. The large servo for example, if mirrored on a craft, will have only one side work. Normally that would be forgivable as it seems like a genuine glitch, but in this case it ties in with a bigger problem… the devs.
I’m writing this on May 28th, 2020 which means that in two days this DLC will have been out for a whole year. The glitches still have yet to be addressed and the parts STILL don’t even have sound files. I’ve seen the bug reports on the official website, as have the devs (confirmed back in November) and nothing has been done. They don’t care. I think it’s pretty insulting to charge people money for this when it doesn’t even seem finished. Especially when there are free mods out there that do essentially the same thing. Which is the route I’d recommend if you’re thinking of buying this.
