Beacon Pines is a cutesy adventure and visual novel game. Featuring themes of horror, mystery and wholesomeness. Its story is masterfully told, with an exceptionally voiced narrator and a brilliant script that made the words come together ever so elegantly. I have nothing but praise for this title and I wholeheartedly recommend this to all narrative fans.
All characters are utterly adorable anthropomorphic animals, with the protagonist being Luka, a young boy from a small agricultural town called Beacon Pines. Luka spends his days with his best friend Rolo, a mischievous fox who likes to cause havoc, whereas Luka is a bit more reserved. The two decide to start their holidays by delving into a town mystery and exploring a spooky abandoned factory after hearing local gossip. Of course, there is much more background story to this factory that is discovered later on, but this sets the scene for the tale.
