Graphics are gorgeous and gameplay is very enjoyable, although not all weapons are useful. Music is repetitive but very good and I don’t really get tired of it though I’m certain you can turn it off if desired. I bought the game planning to play on easy but as I’d initially feared rewards are reduced if you don’t play on normal so I reluctantly tried it. It’s hard at first until you get some practice and unlocks but this game gets easier over time even more than upgrading stats would suggest at first glance. I’d say its a great balance which is hard enough to feel rewarding but easy enough to still beat. The only other game I felt that way about is Dragon’s Dogma.
I recently beat the second stage boss and unlocked the powerful hacker class which I’m really loving. This game is extremely addictive as long as you like its style and I highly recommend it. Fun game still riddled with bugs that, although don’t destroy runs, will be very noticeable. Some abilities and guns are extremely good while others are basically a death trap just for using. Fun, especially for the price, but needs a lot of work added to make augmenting and mods not feel so empty or the hacker class basically free gameplay while completely absolving the point of firearm and melee combat. It still feels like it’s missing qualities.
