Persistence is ensured by a sharp division between the majority indoctrinated working class and the reclusive high society. Leaders of Kosolov, effectively banished from the rest of the world, have been able to expedite their immoral scientific research in order to strengthen their oppressive military might and labor force.
Taking advantage of an already high death rate, Kosolov devised a scheme to bring the dead back to life and resurrect them in order to produce the ultimate controlled and mindless workforce. Researchers have tried a variety of strange experiments, including regeneration biomass and mechanical implants. After a series of unanticipated events culminate in a devastating calamity, your only remaining option is to fight your way out of town. The first episode of the game, which has fifteen levels, is available in the current early access version of Anomalous.
