I restarted the game a few times realizing I miss spent resources and it felt like it was going to put my back by days.. Maybe I’m really bad at the management part but I feel like there is definitely room for improvement. I feel like I never have enough resources for food while other resources I had plenty. So I have to be incredibly mindful which stuff I buy or I can screw myself until I get more to fix it. So that can feel very punishing. It would be nice (as someone who is very forgetful) if when I hover over an ingredient it would show me what recipes use it. Maybe even which type of person wants those recipes. These are some minor changes that would greatly improve the experience playing the game.
The cats are cute. I appreciate we have the option to rename them. I like the design aspect but with how slow you get resources versus their cost I haven’t been able to do much decorating in the way I want versus what the customers want/need. I look forward to being able to customize it how I want. Even though I do find it very grinding and frustrating at times, I’m still playing it. So for that I would recommend it. I got this to relax which it has been doing. With that in mind, I’d wait for a sale to pick it up or, like I did, part of a bundle.
Edit; As I’ve “finished” the game. I never really did end up decorating stuff how I wanted. That might be because of the previously mentioned frustrations. I finished all the achievements and I don’t feel a desire to go back and play now. So for me, I don’t see much replay value. I still highly suggest getting it on sale/part of a bundle.
